The Marketing Association for Rehabilitation Centers is a 501(c)(3) organization formed in 1978 that supports non-profit Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRPs) in a 21-county region of western North Carolina. MARC's mission is to support vocational rehabilitation and developmental training in this region for adults with physical or mental disabilities or both. The purpose of MARC is to raise the quality of life and contribution to society of people with disabilities through meaningful work and effective rehabilitation, habilitation, and enrichment programs. Among others, MARC's chartered activities include:

  • Increasing the capability of members to market their goods, products and program services;
  • Facilitating trust and goodwill among members;
  • Developing and deploying various beneficial programs for members; and
  • Coordinating advocacy and policy efforts for people with disabilities.
